Lanciato nel maggio 2012 con conferimento del ramo d’azienda da parte di e.Bismedia di Fastweb, Chili Tv rappresenta uno tra i primi servizi di Video on Demand in Italia. Nel 2014 ha dichiarato di aver raggiunto oltre 400mila utenti registrati con un incremento di oltre il doppio rispetto all’anno precedente, segnale incoraggiante in un mercato nazionale ancora in fase di sviluppo e con una penetrazione del broadband molto bassa rispetto agli altri grandi paesi europei.
