TV via Internet, +110% all'anno

Dai 340 milioni di ricavi 2011 in Ue ai 3 miliardi nel 2014

Saranno anni di forte crescita per i ricavi della cosiddetta over the top tv, la televisione che arriva via Internet, sul modello della Premium Net tv presentata  il 22 febbraio da Mediaset. ITMedia Consulting, nel suo rapporto Next Generation Television, che uscirà martedì prossimo, prevede un incremento del 110% all'anno di qui al 2014 in tutta l'Europa occidentale, Italia compresa. A fine 2011, secondo la società guidata da Augusto Preta, i ricavi nell'intera area saranno di 340 milioni di euro, ancora ben poca cosa se confrontati con il fatturato totale dei broadcaster televisivi ma già fra tre anni saranno superati i 3 miliardi.
